I am blessed to live in Yerushalim and I have a bit of a confession: I tend to avoid the crazy crowds on Chol Hamoed. The parks, museums, and streets are packed with visitors from all over Israel and the world and it’s really beautiful to see! But I prefer avoiding the crowds and instead enjoy hosting guests in my sukkah and keeping things calm at home.
BUT, I do venture out a lot during quieter times, and I like to explore Yerushalayim as if I’m a tourist!
If you’re braving the Chol Hamoed rush—or just looking for some great family-friendly activities year-round—here are some of the best spots to enjoy!
