PACKING FOOD FOR TRAVEL:


Depending on where you’re traveling to, how long you’re traveling for, and what’s available at your destinations, below is a good list of foods that travel well at room temperature:

Medicines, vitamins, and basic first-aid items

Apples

Beef jerky

Cereal

Cheese

Cold cute / deli meat

Cooked Pasta

Cooked Quinoa

Crackers

Cut up carrots/baby carrots and celery (they last long without refrigeration)

Cut up fresh fruit in neat containers (eat early on)

Dried fruit

Fruit leather

Grapes

Homemade / store-bought high protein bars and cookies

Homemade healthy egg muffin cups

Noodle soups

Nuts

Pasta

Pita

pretzels

Seeds

Several Condiment packages (Mayo. Ketchup. Honey. Mustard. Ranch dressing)

Snap peas

Squeezable fruit pouches for the kids

Squeezable yogurt pouches for kids- freeze first

String cheese

Trail mixes

Travel-size Hummus and peanut butter -

Vacuum-packed tuna.

Ziplock with Oatmeal and cinnamon (just add hot water)
