Free Exclusive Content: Here’s an Advanced Checklist my Students Got!

I created an exclusive WhatsApp chat for the amazing women who took my course, where we support and motivate each other.

Honestly, the chat is worth the course alone—everyone loves it, and it’s such a valuable resource!

I regularly post challenges and checklists to keep everyone motivated even after the course ends.

Yesterday, I shared an Advanced Decluttering Checklist that a few students asked if they could share with friends because they found it so helpful.

So, I decided to share it here on the blog, even if you haven’t taken my course yet- because I am so nice😄.

Try it out, see how it helps you, and let me know which tasks you tackled! If you find it helpful, feel free to share it with a friend.

And if you want ongoing support like this, check out my course because the chat alone is amazing!

Advanced Decluttering Checklist

  1. Create a ‘To-Do’ List for the Week; Write down your decluttering tasks for the week and prioritize areas that cause the most stress.

  2. Identify 3 Problem Areas in Your Home; Pick three spaces that feel overwhelming and make a plan to tackle them this week (e.g., laundry room, kids’ craft corner, paper clutter).

  3. Eliminate a Category; Choose one category of items (like magazines, toys, or kitchen gadgets) and reduce it by 70%. Keep only what you use or love.

  4. Purge Your Digital Stuff; Declutter your phone by deleting unnecessary apps, clearing photos, and organizing files. Mute notifications to reduce mental clutter.

  5. Set a Timer for 15 Minutes of Paper Decluttering; Grab a stack of papers (mail, school papers, receipts) and shred, file, or act on them.

  6. Clear Out Expired or Duplicate Household Items; Open a cabinet or storage area and get rid of anything expired (cleaning supplies, toiletries, food). Recycle or toss duplicates.

  7. Declutter Your Calendar; Review your weekly commitments. Can you eliminate or reschedule anything to reduce stress?

  8. Choose One Thing to Donate Today; Find one valuable item that no longer serves you and donate it.

  9. Plan a Minimalist Meal for Tomorrow; Simplify your meal planning by choosing a healthy, quick meal that minimizes prep and cleanup. Write down the ingredients.

  10. Commit to 5 Non-Negotiables for the Day; Identify five essential tasks for today—then make them happen! These should be non-negotiable to keep you on track.

I hope you find this checklist as useful as my students did! Let me know which tips you implemented and how it worked for you. 😊 And of course, don’t forget to check out my blog, my book, and my course for even more amazing content like this!

Love, Ellie
